Predicted starting XI and final score v AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday

Round Three of the Carabao Cup comes to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, as Arsenal hosts AFC Wimbledon. The crosstown club is currently 7th in League One.

Mikel Arteta has a huge North London Derby on Sunday, so I am expecting he will rest many of his primary players, and field a second unit squad for this cup game.

With that said, here’s my predicted starting XI v AFC Wimbledon…

[4-3-3]

Martinelli, Falogun, Nketiah

Lokonga, Maitland-Niles, Odegaard

Tavares, Mari, Chambers, Cedric

Leno

Final score: ARSENAL 4 – AFC Wimbledon 1

Also, it also appears that Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino could make hist first team debut as well on Wednesday.

  1. If patino is going to be given a chance then it’s best to have him in starting lineup so he can better prepare and drill with others in starting 11. Hope he has fun.
