The prime minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, has postponed his speech on the nation’s COVID-19 recovery plans until Sunday. This means the next Premiere League meeting will be delayed until Monday at the earliest.
Johnson was originally scheduled to speak on Thursday about how he plans to get the English economy up and going again. The Premier League will not reveal its own plans until they get the green light from the government’s leaders.
At last accounting, 8-10 neutral stadiums will be used to play the remaining 92 PL games.
Several of the teams fighting to avoid relegation are arguing against finishing the season at all.
Stay tuned, this story is only beginning to be written.
Cheers, and stay healthy!
