Wednesday’s game at the Etihad will have a serious impact on Arsenal’s Top 4 or Top 5 chances. It is vital he travel back to London with points in our back pocket.
Mikel Arteta’s return to face Pepe Guardiola will also be filled with emotion, but the boss will want to prove his worth as a top flight manager with a win over his former employer. The tension will be thick.
Here’s my projected starting XI for Wednesday’s game…
Leno
Saka, Mari, Luiz, Bellerin
Ceballos, Xhaka, Ozil
Aubameyang, Lacazette, Pepe
Projected final score…Manchester City 2 – Arsenal 2
COYG!

Mikel Arteta on winning 14 consecutive UCL games in the group/league phase, “It shows the level of consistency that we have. We are carrying on playing the way we do, performing that way in competition. I’m sure we can do that more, but we have to earn it because it’s big.”
