Mikel Arteta has some big decisions to make. Who should play tomorrow in the FA Cup clash v Portsmouth?
Do you play your best XI to get them back on track and rebuild confidence, or do you give them a rest and play a B side against a League One club? I would field a mixture of both. You have too have some fresh legs on the pitch as well.
Here’s my proposed starting XI…
Leno
Maitland-Niles, Holding, Mari, Bellerin
Torreira, Guendouzi, Wilcock
Aubameyang, Lacazette, Pepe
My subs would be…(of course, depending on injuries and/or game situations)
Nketiah for Lacazette, Martinelli for Auba, and Mustafi for Bellerin
Leno, Bellerin, Auba, Pepe, and Laca need a confidence builder following Thursday. Give them each around 60 minutes and see if they can re-establish some mojo.
Projected final score…Portsmouth 0 – Arsenal 3
Thoughts?
