This was a must win for Arsenal if the club was to qualify for the 2019-2020 Champions League. Chelsea had already earned their spot, however, the Gunners had finished 5th in the Premier League, so Europa League was their last chance to join the continent’s biggest football competition.

After a 0-0 first half, the flood gates opened, the Gunners’ defense cracked, and Chelsea netted four goals enroute to a 4-1 thumping of Arsenal.
