Whoever said being a manager in the Premier League was a safe or secure job? For the answer to that question just asked the eight men listed below what their opinion might be.

Just since the start of the 2021/2022 season, eight managers have been sacked. Watford has already sacked two.

Here’s the list…

  1. Xisco Munoz (Watford) – October 3, 2021 (replaced by Claudio Ranieri)
  2. Steve Bruce (Newcastle) – October 20, 2021 (replaced by Eddie Howe)
  3. Nuno Espirito Santo (Tottenham) – November 1, 2021 (replaced by Antonio Conte)
  4. Daniel Farke (Norwich City) – November 6, 2021 (replaced by Dean Smith)
  5. Dean Smith (Aston Villa) – November 7, 2021 (replaced by Steven Gerrard)
  6. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manchester United) – November 21, 2021 (replaced by Ralf Rangnick through end of season)
  7. Rafa Benitez (Everton) – January 16, 2022 (replaced by Duncan Ferguson through end of season)
  8. Claudio Ranieri (Watford) – January 24, 2022 (replaced by Roy Hodgson through end of season)
