Following the Gunners huge win in the NLD on Saturday, preparations are currently underway at London Colney for the club’s next opponent, FK Bodo/Glimt.
This Norwegian club is currently second in Norway’s top division, Eliteserien, and, if you are wondering where Bodo is located, the town sits on the Norwegian Sea near the top of this Scandinavian country, just north of the Arctic Circle. The club plays home matches in Aspmyra Stadion, which seats 8,300.
Bodo/Glimt is currently in first place in the Europe League’s Group A with one win and a draw, so, even with the Liverpool game in the wings on Sunday, the Bodo a match can not be taken lightly. So expect our back-up players to step onto the Emirates pitch Thursday, however, with many of the regulars resting on the bench.
With that said, here is my predicted starting XI v Bodo/Glimt…
[4-2-3-1]
Nketiah
Marquinhos, Vieira, Nelson
Lokonga, Xhaka
Tierney, Holding, Tomiyasu, Cedric
Turner
Predicted final score: ARSENAL 3 – Bodo/Glimt 0
