After a very impressive 3-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday in the Community Shield, the Gunners are preparing to open the Premier League campaign v league newcomers Coventry City and their manager Frank Lampard.
Arsenal appears to have an attacking mindset this season when they have the ball. Even throw-ins were happening a lot quicker then in past seasons. This was terrific to see, a club determined to out play their opponent through quickness and determination.
Coventry City was very impressive in last season’s Championship, winning the league title and stepping-up to the big time of English football. Do they have what it takes, I guess we will see on Monday.
With that said, here’s my predicted line-up for Mikel Arteta on Monday in Emirates Stadium…
