As the season begins the final run of games, the battle in the EFL Championship to earn those prized three spots in the Premier League next season are being hotly contested.

As you know, the top two finishers are automatically promoted, while the third through sixth places finishers compete in a playoff format to secure the third and final promotion spot.
Three of the current top four clubs in the Championship were relegated from the top tier of English football at the end of last season, while Ipswich Town, West Brom Albion and Norwich City have been absent from the Premier League for multiple seasons.
It’s obviously going to be a three club battle for the top for the Championship’s championship, but with less than ten matches to go, it’s still anyone’s race.
As always, we’ll keep a close eye on the Championship table until the end of the season.
Regarding the relegation battle in the Premier League, Burnley and Sheffield United are sure to go down, with Brentford, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest in a race to survive the drop.
