The Community Shield is only 11 days away, and I assume with such a short schedule to prepare, maybe the Gunners will utilize Steve Bould’s under-23 side to help carry the load in this match, with the likes of Tyreece John-Jules, Ben Sheaf and Folarin Balogun.
However, in my humble opinion, I would prepare a more mixed side utilizing both U-23’s and first team players.
If that happens, I would field the following starting XI in the Community Shield match v Liverpool.
[4-3-3]
Macey
Maitland-Niles, Saliba, Holding, Soares
Willock, Shaef, Smith-Rowe
John-Jules, Balogun, Nelson
