Mikel Arteta will still be scrambling on Thursday to assemble a starting XI for the 2nd leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal v Liverpool.
Presently, the manager has a lot of players still questionable, however, with my crystal ball in hand I have assembled a “wishful” starting XI for the Gunners next match.
With that said, here is my revised XI, still with four question marks…
[4-2-1-3]
Martinelli, Lacazette, Saka?
Odegaard
Lokonga, Smith Rowe?
Tierney?, Gabriel, White, Tomiyasu?
Ramsdale
Predicted final score: ARSENAL 2 – Liverpool 1 [Arsenal wins the semifinal 2-1 on aggregate]

Partey!
Wow, you gone for a massive attacking line up. Great.
Can’t see Arteta doing it though.
4 3 3 would be his limit, but I reckon.he will go with 4 4 1 1. Arteta is way too cautious.
So i go with 4 4 2.
I expect to see Tavares used as a midfield replacement some time in game. And expect Holding to get some game time as well
