Promotion and relegation is a big part of English football. Clubs rise and fall, then rise, and then fall again. It always provides that extra drama to the last few weeks of the Premier League and Championship calendars.
Here’s the ups and downs since the end of 2017/2018 Premier League campaign.
Promoted to the Premier League:
2021/2022 – Fulham, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest
2020/2021 – Norwich City, Watford, Brentford
2019-/2020 – Leeds United, West Brom Albion, Fulham
2018/2019 – Norwich City, Sheffield United, Aston Villa
2017/2018 – Wolves, Cardiff City, Fulham
And relegated to the Championship…
2021/2022 – Burnley, Watford, Norwich City
2020/2021 – Fulham, West Brom Albion, Sheffield United
2019/2020 – Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich City
2018/2019 – Cardiff City, Fulham, Huddersfield Town
2017/2018 – Swansea City, Stoke City, West Brom Albion
Who’s next to join these list for 2022/2023?
Cheers.
