This is one of the biggest weeks in every season of the Champions League and Europa League competitions, the 2nd leg of the semifinals.
With any luck, the Premier League could have 4 finalists this season, a feat also accomplished in 2019 by Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal.
The crystal ball is polished and ready to go, so here are my predictions going into Tuesday’s 2nd leg of the Champions League semifinals…
Tuesday: Manchester City has a 2-1 aggregate lead over PSG. Even though the 2nd leg is at The Etihad, I predict PSG will make a strong comeback and advance to the finals.
[YANKEE GOONER IS 0 FOR 1 AS MAN CITY ADVANCED TO THE FINALS]
Wednesday: Chelsea and Real Madrid are tied at 1-1 going into the match, however, Chelsea has an away goal advantage. This will be close, but I predict a Chelsea win.
[YANKEE GOONER IS 1 FOR 2 AS CHELSEA ADVANCED TO THE FINALS]
Thursday…Both Europa League matches are on the same day. The Gunners host Villarral and will advance to the Europa League finals with a shoot-out win over Emery’s side.
[YANKEE GOONER IS 1 FOR 3 AS VILLARREAL ADVANCED TO THE FINALS]
Thursday…Unless Manchester United completely falls asleep, their 6-2 aggregate lead going into this match will surely be enough for United to advance.
[YANKEE GOONER IS 2 FOR 4 AS MAN UNITED ADVANCED TO THE FINALS]
Here are my predications for the two finals…
Champions League: Chelsea 2 – PSG 3
[YANKEE GOONER WILL MISS THIS ONE TOO, AFTER PSG WAS ELIMINATED. I AM NOW 2 FOR 5]
Europa League: ARSENAL 2 – Manchester United 3
[IF MAN UNITED WINS, YANKEE GOONER WILL FINISH 3 FOR 6, IF THEY LOSE, 2 FOR 6]
Thoughts?
