As the Gunners dominated Brentford on Sunday, the club’s list of injuries continues to pile on.
Following a ten day lay-off from competition, Arsenal came out strong at Brentford and showed the Premier League this team is to be reckoned with in 2022/2023. As we begin the international break, the Gunners lead the pack by a single point over Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, with six wins out of seven league games. Terrific!
However, on the flip side of the coin, Mikel Arteta sees the list of Arsenal injuries continue to be a concern. Currently, Mo Elneny and Alex Zinchenko remain on the injured list, while Martin Odegaard and Reiss Nelson have just rejoined the first team entraining and should be ready to play after the international break.
Kudos to Thomas Partey for coming off the injury list on Sunday to have a strong game on Sunday, as well as Fabio Vieira, who scored his first Arsenal goal and put in a solid performance v the Bess.
Fortunately, the international break comes at a good time, allowing these players the opportunity some time to rest and heal.
October will be a monster month for Arsenal with nine games to be played in thirty-one days. Keeping players fit will be a top priority for Arteta and his staff.
Enjoy the international matches.
