What does a win over Tottenham on Thursday mean to Gooner Nation? EVERYTHING!
First, it means Arsenal has qualified for next season’s Champions League for the first time since the 2016/2017 season.
Second, it means we have beaten the Spurs in their magnificent stadium, on their home turf, in front of all their supporters!
Third, it means the Gunners have won both games v the Spurs in 2021/2022.
And fourth, it means North London is RED!
Thursday is a chance for Mikel Arteta and his squad to show the football world they are back and ready to take on the big boys of Europe! However, his team must come prepared to face a Spurs club that has not given up hope for a spot in the Champions League either. Antonio Conte will not allow his club to roll over and play dead, instead expect a Tottenham team that will be fresh and ready to fight for each and every possession during the 90 minutes of football.
Personally, I can hardly wait for this game to begin! This is a moment we have all been waiting for, the chance to again play on the biggest stage in European football…the Champions League, and what a better way to earn that right than by beating Spurs in their own stadium!
Come On You Gunners, bring glory back to the Gunners side of North London!
Cheers!
